spend or save?

Finally...i bought all 7 Harry Potter novels! they are all still nicely wrapped with plastic paper. i'm looking forward for the moment when i start reading the 1st book. hehe. hmmmph... what's next after getting harry potter's novels? i promised ah gong and ah ma to treat them coffee or a meal, but until now the coffees and foods are still waiting for us in the coffee shop. -_-" sorry la, we always couldn't get a chance where everyone are free. right after i got my 1st honourarium, ah gong was busy with meetings and 'politics activities' for election. as for now, it has been few weeks time we didn't go back to pedas. sometimes i have activity, sometimes papa needs to out-station. well, no worries ah ma and ah gong, because this promise has no expired date! hehe. ^^

after i starts earning money on my own effort, i seems getting excited on planning to use them up. haha.

recently my handphone is getting crazier and crazier, it switch off itself from time to time, and this situation is happening more and more frequent. so, i thought of changing a new handphone. however, i don't feel like spending too a lot on this. after trade in my current handphone, maybe i can minimize my budget to RM500+? (i need to work 100hours to earn this amount!) hehe. currently eyeing for sony ericson W850 or S500i. pray hard everything go smoothly.

initially i was planning to get a new watch as well. i saw a nice one but it cost me RM320, after discount! although this price considered a very worth price because in every other places that i had searched this watch cost at least RM400. (original price RM457) but still, RM320 is a WOW... gosh. at last, gave up this plan. because...it takes 64 working hours to earn this amount! casio sheens. i'll own it, in my dream. lol.

uh oh...seems like i'm getting more excited on counting how many hours i need to work for every spending. haha.

SPM Result

12th March 2008, supposed to be QUITE a big day for Kai Wei. It was SPM results release day! That morning, mummy called up and said she get to take 2 hours time leave, so she'll come back and fetch me to school. I woke up like usual, breakfast like usual, sweep the floor like usual, mop the floor like usual... My heart was pumping in the usual rate, until my cell phone rang, showing the incoming call from a friend of mine from another school. "I took my results already! I got 8As! Blah blah blah... " Omigosh.. After I hang up his call, I felt a change in myself mentally. All kinds of feelings rose and congested my mind. Worry, anxious, excited, looking forward, scare, tension, hope...... All my friend's fault, call me for what?! XD
.
I bathed, and was waiting for mummy. Uh oh... My heartbeat increased a hundredfold. My palm wet with perspiration. I could not remain still doing nothing besides waiting! I made myself busy by doing other house works and maximised the volume of CD player. (sorry to my neighbour for the loud songs but I really cannot allows my mind quiet at that time) Minutes passed like hours in the process of waiting, but still, the time had reached, at last. I went to school with mummy, and heard people screaming and shouting at a high pitch. I think I did feel my lung gasping hard for air everytime the high pitch screaming were delivered into my ears. Haha. "Chill, Kai Wei, you did your best!"
.
JunYuen was the 1st who take his result slip among our clique. After few seconds looking on his result slip, he turned back and 'assured' us, "Yes! I got A" -.-" This friend...positive betul. Next was Kar Kit, when he was signing some document and I guess he took a glance at his result slip at that time, a 'dry' and sarcastic laugh came from him, followed by another similar but louder laugh when I asked how is his result. -.-" This friend....speechless. I'm after Kar Kit. Mummy was standing besides me, and the words from her before the 'holy moment' was "接受事实啦” with a smile on her face, trying to calm me down. Haha. Okay, I will. Thank god, I got 10As out of 12 subjects. 9A1 and 1A2 in Chinese. B3 in both Moral and EST (English in Science and Technology. a lot of elders haven't heard about this subject, which I think because it is not important, yet majority candidates' performance had ruined by this subject) Overall, I am quite satisfy with my results, although deep in the bottom of my heart I still desire a straight A's performance. Hehe.
.
Suprisingly, the tension in me only last until the moment I look at my results with mummy. I felt a bit disappointed only during the few minutes I was registering my reults in my brain. After that, mummy rushed back to office, leaving me with my friends at school because we promised our tutor to treat him a lunch after we got our results. All 4 of us that hang out together after that were calm and steady. I even went to watch a movie with a friend after lunching. I doesn't feel excited, nor moody. It's like..."okay, I just got my SPM results, so fast and so easily..." Weirdo~ Haha. Perhaps it is because this result already fulfill the requirement for me to obtain a full scholarship in TARC. (Yang gor gor and Hao gor gor always disagree with my decision going TAR. Haha) As for other scholarships, I still hope to win any of them which provide me a path to get exposure at overseas. But even if I didn't get, I'm think I can accept that. Well, there are always pros and cons in every things right? If I further my studies overseas, I have to miss my families and friends like #$%!%. (sorry, i don't speak foul language, only type, haha) I have to do everything independantly and live all alone there. I have to give up learning 古筝 here. I have to missed a lot of outings and activities and events and gathering here. And lastly I MIGHT be working there after studies and meet a handsome mat salleh boyfriend? Haha. >.<
.
Ops, I forget I want to watch tv! I'm half hour late! Bye... :p

late coming CNY post

Finally, you guys get to see the late-coming uploaded photos that were taken during CHinese New Year. Thanks to the main sponser Kai Jun who helped me to transfer these photos from the memory card to papa's laptop and from papa's laptop to our computer again. well, it had to be so troublesome like this as our beloved card reader refused to function properly. we only have a minor part of the photos in our camera because the 3 'person in charge' of the camera also QUITE lazy to bring along the camera but not knowing what to snap. (the 3 fella meant here are Kai Sheng, Kai Wei and Kai Jun XD) so once again, kai wei is begging (er, not so serious la, welcome-ing is more appropriate) every others who had also taken a lot of nice nice photos of us during Chinese New Year to share their 'masterpiece' with everyone up here. especially ah yang gor gor and be cik (or some call be gu) who have more talent and interest in photography. ^^

ohya by the way, i remember that i promised i'll put up some photos of my gor and his girlfriend when she go Pedas right? i'm so sorry to say that i have to eat my words because...because... suddenly she has some stuff to busy with at her house so not so convenient to go over. so...too bad lo.. -.-" but nevermind, sure have another chance one. hehe. ^^
the only family photo we have this year. only adults la~ all in pairs, nice feeling. ^^

uh oh.. gotcha! the tiny handphone was deadly 'ambushed' by these 3 little kids throughout CNY eve and 1st day CNY. and the funny thing was, they can play together happily this minute and fight with each other the next minute. haha.

too bored watching meaningless movie whole night? too tired suddenly seeing such a big crowd in ah ma's house? or too bored while waiting for the angpaoS? eheh... =D

dah da! ah gong was distributing angpaoS, which immediately created a long Q from the room until the corridor outside. and gor gor was the 1st in the Q! of course la, cadet pilot use flying speed instead of running speed wert. >.< (by the way, ah yang gor gor who was pig-ing had woke up and was in the Q also! =p)

yum yum... the reunion dinner that almost settled! duh, there was never a year that any of the fplate actually become LICIN after the end of the dinner. always, grandparents are happy to see leftovers as this shows that everyone had enough food! for all the nice foods we had, thanks to: ah ma for a lot of things, all 4 of her daughter in law for a lot of things, her baobei granddaughter kai wei for cutting sausages and doing wantan ( i did help a bit ar! hehe), other granddaughters like Sze Wen, Yee Wen, Jing Wen and others for balut-ing wantan also... =)

i realised something missing. the big family photo. as i remember we will have family photo session every year no matter all the members are completely attended or not. but how come this year no more huh? luckily we kept one last year right? hehe... no problem everyone, last year's one still about the same, most of our faces maintain the same. XD

Wet World on 2nd day of CNY

On the second day of Chinese New Year, we (Kwee Yap’s family, Kwee Moi’s family and the two youngest member of Kwee Tiong’s family) went to Wet World at Pedas. It was indeed a joyous and wet occasion for the lot. The kids enjoyed themselves to the fullest. Pity Kwee Yap and Ah Loke, they have to go thru and forth to pick up the excited kids for a float ride. Its was not an easy task. You can imagine having to climb up to 2 storey building for each ride.

Luckily Sun Yit came in time to rescue to two veterans, haha! Nevertheless the kids have a whale of time and beg for another trip. Thanks to Yuan Yuan who supplied us with 6 bottles of Pop drinks. Lesson Learnt : A word of caution, unless the young guys tag along, otherwise better cancel the trip. Hazardous for old heart and worn out body. Haha!

Ah ma and ah gong, aunties and uncles, have you went to the bank to withdraw SOME money? Red packets red packets! Brothers and sisters, cheer for them! Haha... It has been quite some time since I last wrote any post up here. Pai seh ar... Started my work at Petrosains already, and was quite busy with some stuff. Duh, I wonder why is there no one else to 'replace' my job when I was away? (Akhem , don't worry, I'm not complaining. I enjoy taking charge of this blog though.) I understand everyone else are busier than me, and too bad for ber chek and ber jim because their internet line quite lag. They really need a lot of patience if want to post anything up here. ^^

Tomorrow night my gor gor Kai Sheng is coming back home for Chinese New Year. So we are going straight to Pedas after pick him up at KLIA. Ding ding ding ding~ May I have your attention here?! One announcement, he is going to bring his girlfriend back to Pedas on New Year eve, and she will stay only one afternoon before gor gor drive her back. I know some of you haven't reach Pedas that time, but that's the only time for this. She needs to get back for her own reunion and CNY celebration right? Hehe. Hmmm... To minimize your disappointment for those who are not there yet on noon of CNY eve, I will post up some photos during CNY up here la. (but maybe not so fast) I believe there will sure at least one or two faces of gor gor's girlfriend among the photos de. Haha. =p

So see you guys during CNY! Can't wait for Wednesday when everyone gather together. Then Thursday can wear new clothes new shoes and new whatever.. Hehe.. Bye~

This is how the story begins....

Me again! Thought of something interesting that I haven't post it up here. Still remember the sampatman that suddenly pop out during our Ipoh+Penang trip last holiday? I was told that actually there was a 'proper' plot for that. Here goes...

1st, Sampatman: Yoyo, no worry guys! Kai Sheng the sampatman is here!

2nd, Sampatman: Hold on. A nice and handsome post before I start anything. *Blink*

3rd, Sampatman: Enemies, save your energy to run as I'll SETTLE you today! Here I come~ WOooossshHH~

4th, sampatman: 1st kick! Don't start shiver too fast, this is just the beginning...

5th, sampatman: Mushi mishi mashimarooo! (spell >.<)

6th: Ka BAmmm BOOmm~!!
Sampatman: Enemies, take my deadly attack!

7th: Again, the sampatman saves the world! Deng deng deng deng~
Sampatman: Next time when there's any danger, contact me at 012-91XXXXX. Call! Don't sms! Take care, bye bye~

Akhem, there is it. Super sampat la this guy. Haha. But great bravo for him! Next thursday (24/1/2008) he's going to depart to Kota Bharu for his cadet pilot training! This would probably takes him about one and a half year to complete the whole training. Next, he'll be the 1st pilot in Lee's family! Next, " Good morning Captain Lee!". Next, don't forget to see if you can get a discount for flight tickets from him when anyone of us plan to go for a vacation at overseas. But~ Restricted to family members from Lee ONLY. Haha. Hmmm... on behalf of everyone from our big family, HAPPY NEW YEAR and MERRY CHRISTMAS and HAPPY THAIPUSSAM to you gor gor.. Oppss.. Okay la, GOOD LUCK and ALL THE BEST as well in your future career. Study hard okay? ^^

With loves,
Kai Wei =)

First step towards Harry Potter novels~

After a few weeks disappearing from here, Kai Wei is back! Haha.. Pai seh ar everyone, I started my Petrosains Volunteers Orientation Program followed by few days of on job training. Today was my 3rd day of on job training. Very tired after this past few days of standing and walking and talking and learning during my training. Huuu... Finally, the 'thousand gold' Miss Lee Kai Wei knew the feeling of working. Salute to papa, mummy, uncles, aunties and gor gorS who are working hard out there! ^^ Despite the exhaustion I had, I actually get to learn quite a lot of things while being a volunteer at Petrosains. First, I have to understand all the science concepts and facts that lay behind the exhibits there before I can explain them to the visitors. Then, I have to train myself on reading facial expression or body languages from the visitors. Imagine there is a visitor wandering around an exhibit, clicking all the buttons in the wrong way, and when I go to him/her to offer help, he/she just look at me, smile, and continue pressing the buttons in the wrong way, thinking that it's the machine problem that the exhibit didn't works. Sweat~ Hmmm.... Sounds a bit tough right? Hehe... I bet the key point here is~experience! Other than that, an affable smile is always compulsory when there are visitors in our station. (which then turn out to be a BIT tired on my cheeks every time after work)

This few months on the beginning of the year is quite a dull period in Petrosains. Not a lot of visitors. Mostly foreigners. Oh, and I actually found myself enjoy talking with foreigners especially those from Western countries. Canada, UK, US... Their English...excellent! Haha... And I also was impressed with something I saw on foreigners visitors who came with family. Even how young their child is, English parents would have 101% of patience to explain to their child about the Science concepts, how it works, and why it happened to be like what happened. They don't lost their patience when their children don't understand them. Even when the time left was limited and there was still a lot more stations beyond them, they won't urge their child to stop playing and move to the next station fast. When their children did wrong in dealing with the exhibits there, they won't admonish and correct them immediately but give encouragements for them to keep on trying to get the final result. That's good right? Hehe..

That's all from me about my working at Petrosains. No photos yet. Will upload some when I got chance to take photos during my work. Haha. See ya!

Kai Wei =)

My FIRST job...

Yahoooo! Last Saturday I went for a job interview at Petrosains, KLCC. And the good news is, I got the job! Actually this is not too surprise because I'm the only Chinese during the 1st day interview and my friend is another ONLY Chinese during the interview one day after mine. As one of the tourists attraction like Petrosains, they need Chinese volunteers especially during Hari Raya right? Anyway, still...a bit...excited. Hehe. A volunteer at Petrosains is the first job in my life. I have to attend a training coarse which last 5 days starting next Monday (7/1/2008). From the interview, I understood that working at Petrosains required a lot of performing. Well....... I guess I need to train myself to be more OPEN. Know what? In the interview session, they called 5 people at once (Huuu... at least not one-to-one). First, we were asked to introduce ourselves. I was the 2nd, and I remember well that my hands were shivering badly when I was talking. Haha. Next.... "hmmmpph, your boyfriend fell in love with another girl, try to act a scene where your boyfriend wants to leave you, and how you will do to win him back". What the.... Actually, if my boyfriend dump me, I don't think I'll try to do anything to WIN him back. Okay, fine. This is an interview. So, I act la... For others, they were asked to sing, dance, cheer.. Wow... Anything that I definitely didn't expect them. But thanks god, I was called for the training. Hehe.

The target of my purse when I got my payment is.... The whole series of HARRY POTTER. I had checked out the price, there are one set (1st 6 books) of children edition one, RM225 something like this. Basically it's the same content on children edition and adult edition, but the covers are different. If I would like to buy one by one the adult edition one, how much will they cost me?? Uh oh... I dunno. But one day the whole series of Harry Potter novels will stay on my book shelve. Hehe. SO.... Good luck to me! Add oil add oil...

This is gor gor in his Petrosains uniform. Soon, I'll be wearing the same uniform! Heheh~

PENANG PENang penang~~

Wheee... Year 2008 already! Okay, since I'm so free today, let me post something about my holidays during end of 2007. But don't forget my holidays are still going on! Hehe. Hmmm... Few days after i finished my SPM, I went for a 4 days 3 nights trip with papa mummy gor gor and didi at Ipoh and Penang. Wow, Penang, the "heaven of delicacies"... Yum yum... Actually we went along with 2 of papa's old friends and their families. There goes 15 people from 3 families! I believe 15 of us put on weight after back from the trip. Comfirmed! Well, you really can't resist the delicious foods there. Asam laksa, char keow teow, curry mee, har mee, cendol... Yumm Yumm, again.. Akhem, cut the craps and let's watch a few photos that we had taken during our makan-trip...
Family photo...somewhere at Penang Hill... One dunno-what-train, we're in the FIRST CLASS!
Hey! Where are these three penguins going??????
Penguin 1: Just keep swimming, just keep swimming, swimming, swimming...
Ladies and gentlemen, we have...SAMPATman! Wowwwwwww.... How did he sit on the air?
Seems an ordinary photo of papa and mummy, but....papa looks CUTE with his cap and...his little tummy... don't you think so? ^^
Group photos... See, I said there are 15 members right??!!!

Sorry, actually we have more than 200 photos from Penang, but this blog only allows 5 photos in a post (I remember I said before)... SO, these 5 are the best among the best...I think la..
